The Cullen Butcher Turkey Tournament will commence on Monday 16th November. The tournament committee has done its upmost to accommodate requestd unavailability from many participants. A captain has been designated to each team and is denoted by (c) beside their name in the sections. Each captain will text their team members in advance of the games confirming dates and times of their games. Please note that on Thursday's only the early matches do not start until 7.30pm and the late matches at 9.00pm, this is to accomodate children's coaching that require four courts until 7.30pm.

Turkey Tournament Rules 2009.
Entry fee for this tournament is €10 per person which is given to the team captain on the first night of the team’s match.
There are 15 teams in the competition, 8 per team, there will be a maximum 4 matches to be played by all teams.
The winner will be the first to reach 11 games and a tie-break is only to be used if the score is tied at 10pts.
If a substitute is required it is up to the captain to find a substitute and not the player. If you are unable to play please advise your captain asap, (please take into consideration they may be uncontactable during working hours so leave a message or text and they will respond when picked up).
Members who are not participating in the event are prohibited from subbing, the sub must be playing in the competition.
There will be a Committee member present each evening, so make yourself known if any problems/difficulties arise.
There are three sections, A, B and C. The winners of each of these sections will qualify for a semi-final spot, while one team from the three sections with the next highest number of points will make up the fourth semi-final place on Wednesday 9th December.
Early matches commence at 7.00pm and late matches at 8.30pm (except Thursday's). Punctuality is very important to assist with the smooth running of this event.
